It all starts with my alarm ringing at 7.45am snoozed and delayed by an interval of 10 minutes in evry 5 minutes.Finally when the minute hand touches 6 i.e the clock shouts and informs me that its 8.30 am.... NO... i dont wake up.... Entry my mom...She shouts..."Lazy boy wake up.time to get going for office"..well there is no scope for snooze button here.i have to wake up with a heavy heart and the hangover of previous nights not so good memorable dream.A quick brushing of concepts..oopz....Teeth i guess ;),a strong tea readily served with hindustan times newspaper on hand.Quick multitasking while reading what all made news the previous day and then proceed for my royal bath.Breakfast at 9.20 and finally get ready to leave at 9.30.
Pick up 3 keys(Bikes,my Drawer's,House one),my heavy helmet and my bag containing my lenovo laptop,water bottle.Start racing down the stairs,remove the bike cover and then pray hard to god hoping for some petrol to suffice for d day as well as engine oil which might get over any time soon...vroom i start and zoom i go.i reach kharghar station at 9.45am,pay parking fees and catch the 9.50 local train which i dont know y but always comes good 3 minutes early...Damn the over enthu motorman... :( reach at sanpada at 10.10am.wait for another connecting train at 10.20am to thane.Reach thane station at 10.45am.Quick 5 minutes walk to nearby stop from where i catch my company bus.10.55am bus starts and i reach office premises at 11.55am...AND FROM HERE STARTS MY GERMAN SHIFT....
After swiping my id and a fast biometric fingerprinting validation i enter my office.Reach my cubicle,keep my bag,take my laptop,connect the cord and the LAN connection,,,switch on my system.Day starts first by checking mails in my official id,responding to urgent mails.lunch comes next at 12.30pm.Work starts from 1.15pm...coding,completing change requests,staging ,team meetings,forums,townhalls etc etc..3pm tea followed by again work..snacks at 5.30 followed by an evening walk with my colleagues,discussing about day's activities.work resumes soon by 6pm..completing pending tasks,checking emails again for pending responses till 7pm and ofcourse,regular Quota of coffee from my favorite vending machine.After realising that there is nothing much to work about for the day,i proceed towards the TT room.An exciting game follows till 7.45pm.if am in good mood then a 15 min round of Carrom follows.8pm return back to my cubicle and do the remaining work that m supposed to do for the day/night...and ya...i also do surf net regulary in between work for latest news.no specific time for that.Slowly the time touches 8.30pm and i realise that its time to pack.i pack my official belongings,lock my drawer and proceed towards exit.and then the usual swiping of my id card and fingerprint verification allows me to legaly leave the office campus.And that marks AN END TO MY GERMAN SHIFT,but my journey continues....
I get into my company bus whose wheel start moving by 8.45pm.Reach thane station at 9.10,catch train to sanpada at 9.20pm,reach sanpada at 9.45pm and then catch train at 9.55pm for kharghar.Reach kharghar at 10.20pm,take my bike and zoom back to home.I park my bike,put the covers,enter the lift and reach my floor.knock the door and my mom opens the door,Enter my room at 10.30pm,throw my stuffs...go for a mini shower and have my dinner at 10.45pm.At 11pm i retire to bed...
Ofcourse i didnt mention anything about my dad coz...he leaves for office before i wake up and goes to bed before i enter from office and so our path never criss crosses..After all its me whoz in GERMAN SHIFT...
Retiring to bed at 11pm and then the usual story continues...i sleep and i dream..and yaa... again not so memorable dream....my dream continues and so my german shift....
